The Les paul reader development site
Welcome to the Les Paul reader development. This is the HQ for building an open source feedreader, based upon django. If you want to join development or have questions you can subscribe to the les paul development mailinglist.
*update:* this project is abandoned. Maybe it will be kick-started some day, but probably not. Too bad.
Goal
We want to create a feed reader that:
- Is browser based, so you can access your news from everywhere
- Support the Google Style 'waterfall' reader interface
- Is looking nice, and is easy to use
- Is Open Source
- Based upon Python & Django
- OpenID support, or other popular open authentication methods.
- To many more ideas to write down here.
Demo
There is a public demo available now at:
Getting Started developing
